Borders Cutting Prices On Its E-Readers (BGP)

Borders Group BGP announced that it is cutting prices on its Kobo and Aluratek e-readers by about $20. The price of the Kobo will go from $149.99 to $129.99 and the Aluratek Libre e-reader will go to $99.99 from $119.99 apiece. During today's trading session, BGP fell 1.80%. Borders Group, Inc. (Borders) is an operator of book, music and movie superstores and mall-based bookstores. As of January 30, 2010, Borders operated 511 superstores under the Borders name, including 508 in the United States and three in Puerto Rico.
