Top Narrow Based Indexes For May 2 (ICO, DMED, DISH)

By 10:52 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 52.71 points, or 0.41%, to 12,863.25, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had gained 5.67 points, or 0.42%. The NASDAQ composite index rose 12.13 points, or 0.42%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are driving the markets are Coal Stocks, which have gained 3.7%, Diabetes Stocks, up 2.3%, and TV Service Provider Stocks, moving 1.7% higher as a group. In Tickerspy's Coal complex, International Coal Group Inc ICO had surged 30.6%. Arch Coal Inc ACI agreed to acquire ICO for $3.4 billion. The best performing Tickerspy Diabetes stock has been D. Medical Industries Ltd DMED, which was up 31.9%. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted DMED's subsidiary, Spring-Set Health Solutions Ltd, 510(k) clearance to market its Sprin Universal Infusion Sets in the United States. DISH Network Corporation DISH is today's leading Tickerspy's TV Service Provider stock, gaining 14.2%. DISH reported a more than two-fold surge in its first-quarter net income.
