Top Narrow Based Indexes For December 30 (LYSCF, MIPS, VISN)

By 11:31 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 11.43 points, or 0.10%, to 11,573.95, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had lost 1.18 points, or 0.09%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 3.01 points, or 0.11%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the markets are Rare Earth Stocks, which have gained 2.7%, Memory Chip Stocks, up 2.3%, and Chinese Advertising Stocks, moving 1.8% higher as a group. In Tickerspy's Rare Earth complex, Lynas Corp Ltd LYSCF had surged 9%. LYSCF had $404.92 million in total cash and no debt for the recent quarter. The best performing Tickerspy Memory Chip stock has been MIPS Technologies Inc MIPS, which was up 6.9%. MIPS' trailing-twelve-month ROE is 43.41%. VisionChina Media Inc VISN is today's leading Tickerspy's Chinese Advertising stock, gaining 11.6%. VISN and Focus Media Holding Limited FMCN have entered into a securities purchase agreement, under which FMCN will buy 15,331,305 newly issued common shares of VISN at $3.979 per share.
