CowboyZombies Connects Blockchain With Gaming In A New Unique Way

The gaming industry is among the oldest partnering industries that the blockchain sector has. One reason behind this is that the gaming industry is not afraid of new technologies and opportunities, and as one of the largest industries in the world — it is easy to understand why companies would be looking for anything that can give them an edge against competitors.

Obviously, blockchain allows for plenty of opportunities to earn, attract users simply due to the fact that it is so new and exciting, and more. And, of course, combining the gamers’ love for games with opportunities to earn money while engaging with games is a winning combination, if there ever was one.

This is why CowboyZombies, while still being very young and not quite done with its development, is already attracting massive amounts of attention.

What Is CowboyZombies?

CowboyZombies is a Shoot-to-Earn game, inspired by The Walking Dead show and zombie games such as Left 4 Dead. As you can imagine, the goal is to fight zombies while playing as Cowboys and Cowgirls.

As mentioned, the project is a Shoot-to-Earn game, which makes it different from more traditional Play2Earn games. However, it does things in a pretty good and interesting way. It has attracted expert designers from all over the world to its team, which hace created 4 main characters of zombies, as well as 5 ranks of Cowboys and Cowgirls, special kinds of guns and skills, and more.

The game’s story is pretty simple. It takes place in 1970, where cowboys herd their cattle and tend to its needs, but with a strong old west vibe, such as what we are used to seeing in cowboy movies. Their lives are fairly peaceful, with a bit of hunting deer or chasing criminals here and there, just to give life some excitement. However, that all changes when suddenly, zombies start to attack. And, as always, they are mindless monsters hungry for fresh meat.

From there on, you have to defend yourself using guns and knives, and figure out ways to take down many different kinds of zombies. In other words, it is a familiar story, but that is exactly why it works. Of course, there are new elements to the game, such as the upcoming zombie and cowboy NFTs.

Presale Is Coming In Early October

The project is about to hold its presale of DxSale in early October 2021, which will be followed by launching its token on PancakeSwap. The NFTs are expected to start arriving soon after that. In 2022, the project hopes to release new characters, which will mean more new NFTs, the launch of NFT farming, and more.

It will also focus on expanding its team of developers, cooperate with a game studio to publish a mobile version of the game, pursue listings on CEXes, and more.

CowboyZombies is a very ambitious project that aims to find an audience on a worldwide scale, and become one of the biggest hits among blockchain gamers. So far, the project has done things fairly well, and its smart contracts were even audited by an independent third party. Of course, the project plans to go through a second evaluation, this time by one of the biggest companies dedicated to this sort of thing — CertiK.

The project is overall a good way to bring gamers to blockchain technology, as it gives them a familiar setting, with new opportunities to earn crypto and participate in the NFT and farming markets. In the grand scheme of things, it is another tie between gaming and blockchain, and one that stands to be fairly successful at that.
