The Toronto home where Meghan Markle lived while filming "Suits" and during the early days of her relationship with Prince Harry recently sold for under $1.4 million.

Markle rented the two-story house in the upscale Seaton Village neighborhood during her time on the hit legal drama, which was filmed in the Canadian city. It was listed for sale in August, and a buyer was quickly found.

According to the listing, the cozy home features "high-end finishes and detailing," noting the property's "super gorgeous reno."

The home's striking Tiffany Blue door opens to an interior finished with neutral accents, clean modern touches and plenty of natural light.

While it doesn't offer the same level of privacy as Meghan and Harry's $14.65 million mansion in Montecito, California, the home does provide a secluded retreat with an exquisitely landscaped backyard enclosed by high hedges and a fence.

The new owner will enjoy a custom-designed eat-in chef's kitchen overlooking the backyard, a spacious primary bedroom with ample closet space, and a newly renovated basement.

The property also features a Tesla charging station in the driveway.

Beyond its luxurious amenities, the home boasts a unique royal connection. Prince Harry visited the property several times during the early days of his relationship with Markle, which began while she was filming "Suits." In his memoir "Spare," Harry describes Markle's excitement about introducing him to her dogs.

"Meg was excited to show me her life, her dogs, her little house, which she adored," he wrote.

The couple's current residence, where they live with their children Archie and Lilibet after leaving the royal family, cannot be described similarly.

The 18,000-square-foot mansion boasts a swimming pool, an olive grove, a teahouse and a guest cottage.

Located in one of Los Angeles's most prestigious neighborhoods, the home is owned by celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.

In a 2022 interview with The Cut, Meghan revealed that they found the property online like regular people.

"We were looking in this area, and this house kept popping up online in searches," she told the publication.

The couple was reluctant to visit the house because of its high listing cost.

"We didn't have jobs, so we just were not going to come and see this house. It wasn't possible," she said. "It's like when I was younger and you're window shopping. It's like, ‘I don't want to go and look at all the things I can't afford. That doesn't feel good.'"

Ultimately, the home was too appealing to resist, especially when they considered the beautiful surroundings.

"One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees," Markle recalled. "We did everything we could to get this house."
