Curaleaf To Reopen Adult-Use Dispensaries In Massachusetts

Curaleaf Holdings Inc. CURA CURLF announced Thursday it will reopen its three dispensaries in Massachusetts for adult-use purchases on May 25. The date coincides with other reopenings that are expected to occur that same day.

The retail space in Provincetown will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. six days a week, except Sundays.

The adult-use cannabis dispensaries in Massachusetts have been closed since March 24, following Gov. Charlie Baker's COVID-19 order, which didn't list cannabis-related business as essential.

Curaleaf President Patrik Jonsson said he was "grateful" to Gov. Baker for allowing the reopening of dispensaries.

"We're very much looking forward to resuming serving our customers with the quality products they have come to rely on, and also getting our people back to work," added Jonsson. "We expect sales to be brisk as a result of pent up demand, and we are working closely with the Cannabis Control Commission and the Massachusetts Department of Health to comply with all guidelines surrounding our reopening."

Curaleaf said it would apply required safety protocols for preserving the health and well-being of its employees and customers.

The Wakefield, Massachusettes-based company announced Monday this summer's launching of nano-technology gummies, including Select Nano Gummies and Curaleaf Nano Gummies.
