CBD Brand ECS Buys R&D Facility, Equipment From Dean Foods

ECS Brands recently announced an acquisition of a 10,000 square foot research and development facility formerly occupied by Dean Foods in Broomfield, Colorado.

This deal also includes all of Dean Foods’ lab and sensory testing facilities and equipment.

The purchase will double the size of ECS’s existing footprint.

“This is an exciting time for ECS, and this growth is a great indicator of what we have to come,” said CEO Arthur Jaffee. “We have been working tirelessly on numerous hemp and CBD innovations that we are sure will completely disrupt the industry, set new standards for quality, and push the industry forward.”

Beyond its existing wholesale extraction business, ECS Brands is in the process of launching four consumer-facing brands.

ECS Brands is a hemp-products innovator with the mission to combine scientifically driven formulations with advanced product development techniques in order to create wellness based, whole-spectrum hemp products that promote and enhance healthy lifestyles.
