Body and Mind, Trulieve Are Celebrating New Store Openings

Cannabis company Body and Mind Inc. BAMM BMMJ held grand opening celebrations at two new retail locations in San Diego and West Memphis, Arkansas.

ShowGrow, which is located in the Miramar area of San Diego, will celebrate its launching for three days, starting July 2. The store in West Memphis is also scheduled for this weekend.

Besides product specials, every customer will enjoy complimentary food and free gifts of merchandise, the company said.

"We are excited to have grand opening celebrations at our newest dispensaries and our strategy of measured growth while diversifying across limited license jurisdictions has enabled us to be one of the few debt free operators in our industry," said Body and Mind's CEO Michael Mills in a Thursday's press release.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company also assured its customers it's observing COVID-19 protocols at all of its operations.

BaM's Corporate Update

Body and Mind (BaM) confirmed it has finalized the construction of its Arkansas facility, which covers both dispensary and cultivation operations.

In April, the company teamed up with Comprehensive Care Group, LLC, to launch a dispensary in West Memphis in the vicinity of the Arkansas/Tennessee border.

The company also issued more than 2.9 million shares of its common stock to Australis Capital Inc. effective July 1.

By doing it, BaM finalized the investment agreement from October 30, 2018.

In addition, earlier this month, the company closed a licensing production deal with the cannabis accessory and CBD line Her Highness.

Trulieve Launches Its 53rd Retail Location

BaM wasn't the only cannabis company to open new stores this week.

Trulieve Cannabis Corp. TRUL TCNNF continues to expand its presence in Florida, by launching yet another retail location.

The Fort Pierce store, scheduled to open on July 2, is the company's 51st location within the state, and 53rd nationwide.

Kim Rivers, Trulieve's CEO said they are approaching their four-year anniversary of opening Florida's first dispensary, highlighting "it's incredible to look back and be able to say that we've kept our mission at the core of every decision."

"Our grand opening in Fort Pierce is part of a celebration of four years of innovative, natural, and reliable relief, and we're looking forward to continuing helping patients across Florida for a long time to come," added Rivers.

On opening day, Trulieve will offer a 25% in-store discount at its newest store at 1495 South US Highway 1, Fort Pierce.
