The Happy Labs Is A Clean Beauty Company That's Providing Full Transparency

Chris Gross is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Happy Labs. Founded alongside his wife Stacey, The Happy Labs is a clean beauty company that is utilizing hemp-derived CBD for its products.

The two co-founders combined their unique backgrounds to create this brand. Chris comes from a background in Silicon Valley, running operations for companies like Tesla Inc TSLA. Stacey comes out of the agriculture industry as well as large scale agriculture.

“About two years ago we came down to Manhattan Beach to live by the beach, to live a healthy lifestyle, and we kicked off a company called The Happy Labs just last year,” said Gross.

The pair who embrace a clean lifestyle brought this to the beauty industry. All Happy Labs products are vegan, cruelty-free, contain natural fragrances, are environmentally friendly, and contain organic actives.

CBD-Infused Products

As CBD continues to grow in popularity due to its proven stress-relieving properties as well as other benefits, CBD-infused products are already starting to flood the shelves of popular retail brands.

“Our plan for what we’re doing is to take these clean beauty products and move them into retail. So we’re looking at Urban Outfitters, Inc. URBN, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Inc. JWN, Bluemercury, among others,” said Gross.

The Happy Labs CBD products are made with either CBD isolate that has 0% THC or full-spectrum CBD oil with < 0.3% THC.

Keeping in mind the new integration of CBD in beauty products, The Happy Labs is committed to providing full transparency. Each of their products has a scannable QR code that provides certified test results on the specific batch used for that product. The company triple-tests everything.

“So you see the hemp, we use certified seed and you can see the hemp test results, you can see the extracted batch test results and then you can see the final formula test results as well."
