Americans For Safe Access, The Cannigma Partner On The Cannabis Enigma Podcast Season 2

Americans for Safe Access, an organization advocating for safe and legal access to cannabis, has partnered with cannabis education site The Cannigma to produce a podcast dedicated to the science of cannabis.

Featuring doctors, patients, researchers, and scientists, The Cannabis Enigma podcast will also include a policy and legislative update from ASA in each episode.

“The partnership with Americans for Safe Access will bring in-depth scientific and medical stories to more policy oriented audiences and allows us to educate the scientific and medical communities about the advocacy and legislative world,” said The Cannigma’s senior editor and Cannabis Enigma’s host Michael Schaeffer Omer-Man.

ASA joins The Cannabis Enigma as it enters its second year.

In the first episode of the collaboration, Omer-Man spoke with ASA Executive Director Debbie Churgai and Policy Director Dustin McDonald about where the fight for cannabis legalization is headed in 2021, and where previous legalization efforts have fallen short.

“Part of what we do at ASA is we help people learn how to advocate for themselves so that their voices can be loud and heard,” Churgai said on the episode. “That's the only way to change policymakers' minds. You need to educate them and you need to bring patients to their faces and show them how cannabis is helping.”
