Sofa King Medicinal Wellness Products LLC has implemented solar, storage, and intelligent distribution technology at its Dumont, Colorado-based dispensary.
The news is disclosed Thursday by its parent company, Pure Harvest Corporate Group Inc. PHCG.
The Denver-based cannabis and hemp-CBD company acquired SKM last month, in an all-stock transaction.
Pure Harvest teamed up with Solar Cultivation Technologies, Inc. to bring solar to SKM’s retail facility.
SKM’s dispensary is the first retail location in the state to apply SCT’s InfiniLight system.
In addition, Pure Harvest said that SKM and SCT are in negotiations to implement solar-powered lighting in SKM’s cultivation facility as well.
Matthew Gregarek, Pure Harvest’s CEO, is “extremely excited” they’ve partnered with SCT to bring solar to the dispensary, adding he is “proud to advance our Company’s goals to be a carbon neutral business.”
He is assured that SCT’s technology has the “potential to revolutionize our cannabis operations.”
SCT’s CEO Nick Brait is “pleased” to collaborate with Pure Harvest.
He admires their “dedication to reducing the environmental impact of their operations.”
