Feather Company Taps Former Aurora Exec Shane Morris To Its Board

Cannabis hardware company Feather Company Ltd. has welcomed Morris and Associates Consulting's CEO, Dr. Shane Morris, to its board.

Morris is a former Chief Product Officer at Aurora Cannabis Inc. ACB with over two decades of experience in science policy.

He has held a senior executive position in the cannabis industry since 2015.

Morris brings vast experience in quality assurance, cannabis operations, regulatory affairs, and the introduction of new products.

Prior to Aurora, Morris served at HEXO Corp. HEXO HEXO, where he held executive leadership roles, as well as at the Government of Canada.

"The timing is ideal to have Shane join our team, as Feather looks to increase its cannabis derivative offerings," CEO Patrick Lehoux stated Thursday, adding he is "thrilled" Morris opted to join the company's board.

Morris is "looking forward to supporting" Feather, as it "has the powerful combination of in-market experience and technical expertise to be a global leader of cannabis product innovation."

"Innovation in the cannabis sector will be a key driver of long-term success," he added.

The Sudbury, Ontario-based company manufactures vaporizer pens filled with live resin, distillate, or CBD. Its mission is to boost its portfolio of cannabis derivative products.

Meantime, in April, Feather and Materia Ventures teamed up to introduce Hiatus, a premium CBD brand in the United Kingdom.
