Curaleaf International Names New President

Curaleaf International, formerly known as EMMAC Life Sciences Group and part of vertically integrated cannabis company Curaleaf Holdings Inc. CURLF, recently appointed Miles Worne president.

Worne brings experience in building consumer brands and joins Curaleaf International from Glanbia plc, where he was the European managing director of Glanbia Performance Nutrition, the global leader in sports nutrition and weight management.

“We are extremely excited by the growing opportunity for cannabis across Europe and beyond, and are bullishly optimistic for the next few years as cultural and government acceptance grows,” Matt Darin, CEO of Curaleaf Holdings, Inc., said.

Antonio Costanzo, the company’s former CEO, will consult on M&A and regulatory matters.

Valens Nominates Senior VP To Board

The Valens Company Inc. VLNS VLNS has nominated Aïda Moudachirou-Rébois, senior vice president and global chief marketing officer at MAC Cosmetics for election to its board of directors.

Moudachirou-Rébois has extensive experience leading and developing global brands at major multinational corporations, where she has proven adept at building and sustaining both revenue and profit growth through innovation, new product categories, and defining consumer experiences.

“Her deep brand-building expertise, along with her product development and innovation experience align with the Company's most critical priorities today,” CEO Tyler Robson said.

Copperstate Farms Names New CEO & Executive Chairman

Arizona cannabis operator Copperstate Farms recently named Fife Symington its new CEO.

“I’m honored to take on this leadership role as Copperstate Farms enters a new chapter in its six-year history,” Symington said.

In addition, Scott Barker, co-founder and managing director, has been named executive chairman.

Delic Holdings’ President & CSO Named To Cannabis Scientist Power List

Delic Holdings Corp. DELC DELCF announced on Wednesday that Markus Roggen, president and chief science officer for Delic Labs, has been named to the Cannabis Scientist Power List for the third consecutive year.

Under Roggen's leadership, Delic Labs will apply its expertise to psychedelic research and safety testing, the Vancouver-based company said.
