Belushi's Farm Akwesasne Dispensary Kicks Off Cannabis Sales
Sales began last week at 987 State Route 37 in Akwesasne. Belushi's Farm's new store represents the latest tribally licensed marijuana dispensary to open under the jurisdiction of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, reported North Country Now. Akwesasne is a Mohawk Nation territory that straddles the intersection of international borders and provincial boundaries on both banks of the St. Lawrence River.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday, Oct. 27. The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council attended the event, which included an appearance by actor Jim Belushi.
Belushi's Farm products are currently available in Oregon, Colorado, Oklahoma, Illinois and now Massachusetts.
High Tide Starts Selling Marijuana At Third Vancouver Store
High Tide Inc. HITI HITI 2LYA recently revealed that its Canna Cabana retail cannabis store at 5628 Dunbar Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, has kicked off sales of recreational cannabis products and consumption accessories for adult use last week.
The move represents the company's 141st Canna Cabana branded retail cannabis location in Canada, fourth in British Columbia and third in Vancouver.
"Through the opening of this Dunbar Village store, we are further expanding our innovative discount club model, which provides a large assortment of high-quality cannabis and cutting-edge consumption accessories at unbeatable prices," Raj Grover, president and CEO of High Tide said.
The company's other three locations in British Columbia include Fort St John in Northern British Columbia as well as Yaletown and Olympic village locations in Vancouver.
Verts Now Available In These Two States
Verts Neighborhood Dispensary is expanding its brand into the Missouri and Michigan markets.
The move includes four new stores in Missouri - Dexter, Pacific, Gallatin and Joplin.
Verts Neighborhood Dispensary also has ongoing expansion projects, which include adding dispensaries in Michigan. These expansion projects are geared toward the west side and upper peninsula of the Great Lakes State.
The company cultivates cannabis in Colorado and utilizes Tupur Organic Coco for soil, without pesticides, to ensure customers get the healthiest plant each time they buy.
