Top 5 Highest-Paying Jobs In The Cannabis Industry Unveiled

A platform that distributes cannabis products has recently disclosed which positions within the cannabis industry are lucrative, in high demand and don't require specific expertise.

“Cannabis can offer pretty reliable jobs for the markets in the United States, for a few reasons: First reason is that it’s an essential business (...) It doesn't matter if things are getting worse or better in the country. You still need to relax. People still need their medicine,” said WEEDAR founder and CEO Jonathan Bohun.

High-Paying Jobs In Cannabis Industry

According to Forbes, the average salary for a cannabis sales manager is $113,660, while a cannabis marketing manager and a cannabis business operations manager both earn an average of $73,360. A cannabis consultant has an average salary of $67,716, and a cannabis delivery driver earns an average of $39,877.

As the cannabis industry nationwide is still growing, says Bohun,  "whoever found a job in the cannabis market now can be certain it's only going up. So yeah, I would say cannabis jobs are pretty stable, and more and more companies have a venture capital background, with lots of funding entering the market."

Last January, WEEDAR announced that it had raised $1.5 million in a seed funding round led by an anonymous private investor. The investment brings the company's total fundraising to date to $2.3 million. The company plans to expand to Washington, New York, Florida and Michigan in 2023.

In related news, Vangst, a leading cannabis industry staffing platform recently released its 2022 Cannabis Industry Salary Guide, which highlights 2022 salaries and diversity trends in the industry, including employee benefits as well as industry predictions for 2023.

Cannabizteam Worldwide also released its 2023 Cannabis Industry Salary Guide exclusively to Benzinga Cannabis and El Planteo. The new guide shows remarkable strength in the U.S. cannabis job market in the face of global economic challenges.
