Celeb Chef Gino D'Acampo Caught With Weed While Traveling With Co-Stars Gordon Ramsay & Fred Sirieix

Renowned Italian chef Gino D'Acampo was caught with marijuana at Farnborough Airport in Hampshire, England, writes Creek City Times. The incident apparently occurred in November 2022 though D'Acampo's colleague Gordon Ramsay only recently broke the news when he took to social media with an Instagram post.

Per media reports, D’Acampo was arriving in the UK with Michelin Star award-winning Ramsay and celeb chef Fred Sirieix, when police sniffer dogs detected weed in his baggage.

It seems that the popular chef was just given a warning and released ‘without issue.’

The news comes several weeks before D’Acampo left the ITV show 'Gordon, Gino, and Fred: Road Trip' after three seasons, citing complicated contracts. In an announcement about leaving the show,  D’Acampo said on Instagram that his friendship with Ramsay and Sirieix remains strong.

"It's just because we can't get the dates together and sometimes when we do get the dates together sometimes they get changed and it causes a lot of problems for me because I have other stuff that I have to do. Personal problems as well because when I have to change things with my family it is very complicated and also because [of] contracts.”

The show’s audience has already seen D’Acampo get high on marijuana. He sampled a meal dosed with THC oil when the trio was filming in California two years ago.

Ramsay’s new post on Instagram had nothing to do the with weed incident; he shared a photo of himself by the sea, saying it was great to be back in Kona.

According to sources, D’Acampo said he was using cannabis for pain due to back problems.
