Mental healthcare company Numinus Wellness Inc. NUMIF’s new clinic licensing model, The Numinus Network offers independent practitioners the chance to own and operate their own clinic under the Numinus brand through a licensing and services arrangement.
The Canada-based company is moving quickly through different businesses within the psychedelics space, as the present announcement joins the recent launch of “a collection of psychedelic-assisted therapist training courses” designed for practitioners.
“We believe that we are on the verge of a significant shift in mental health care as psychedelic-assisted therapy is becoming more accessible, and Numinus wants to take a leading role in providing this important clinical care,” said founder and CEO Payton Nyquvest.
By offering licensees access to a proven clinic model, a comprehensive training curriculum, treatment protocols and the company’s network of professionals, Numinus seeks to expand its well-reputed model of care to more clients further across North America with reduced capital investment.
The company would also facilitate a clinical solution for interested parties. Through Numinus’ partner investment company Healing Commercial Real Estate Inc. (Healing CREI), licensees can choose to lease a fully-functioning Numinus Wellness clinic location.
Healing CREI’s founder and president Cody Shandraw says the partnership is an opportunity for Numinus “to further solidify its position as one of the industry leaders prepared to meet the growing demand for psychedelic-assisted therapy services.”
Shandraw added that leveraging market data helps build clinic infrastructure by using a targeted planning process to determine key regions where the psychedelic, behavioral health and wellness industry is currently lacking or underserved, something that Healing CREI knows about and that its founder says will benefit new licensees “find and establish the best possible locations for their new businesses.”
