At this year’s Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference – the biggest gathering of cannabis leaders and investors in the world – Neo Exchange Inc. participated in the panel discussion “Uber’s Journey Into Canadian Cannabis: Navigating Regulations and Partnerships”.
Neo Exchange Inc. is a Canadian Tier 1 stock exchange for the innovation economy, bringing together investors and capital raisers. The Chief Revenue Office of Neo Exchange, Erik Sloane, assumed the moderator role to the panel discussion, hosting keynote speakers Ryan MacIsaac of Uber UBER and Yoko Miyashita of Leafly LFLY. The three discussed the importance of partnerships in the cannabis space, Uber’s progression in Canada and more.
“For us, this is a win-win between consumer and supply. Both sides of the house win. We're a multi-constituent platform, we serve consumers through their discovery and shopping journey. We serve retailers who try to reach those consumers as well as brands. So, really being able to connect our very long-tail aggregation of licensed suppliers with Uber’s top funnel… and turning it into a coherent shopping experience, that’s the excitement here,” said Miyashita.
