Rick Ross Talks About His Cannabis Strain Collins Ave: 'It Makes You Feel Good, Relaxed... Like a Boss'

Legendary rapper Rick Ross has teamed up with California-based cannabis company High Tolerance to create a unique strain called Collins Ave.

This collaboration promises to deliver the perfect high, providing users with blissful, happy and relaxed experiences. High Tolerance, known for its strong roots in cannabis culture and high-quality strains, has worked with numerous artists in the past, solidifying its presence in the music world, but this collab will surely take it to the next level.

"We're excited to partner up with someone iconic like Rick Ross because he is a true cannabis connoisseur. This strain Collins Ave is set to give you an ultimate high to have you feeling good," said High Tolerance co-founder Manny.

For Rick, this collaboration was a no-brainer, as he is a declared fan of High Tolerance. "I love their flower; they’ve got the best flower out and the most consistent gas. This is why I decided to team up with High Tolerance," he said. "Shout out to my boy Manny, the biggest."

When describing the Collins Ave strain, Rick assured "[This is] the biggest high you gonna get. It makes you feel good, relaxed and feeling like a boss."

Wake, Bake And Get To Work

Rick is an avid cannabis consumer. In fact, the herb is part of his daily routine.

He most enjoys smoking cannabis in the morning: "As soon as I get up, I’m looking for it. I need that good gas in the morning."

He also gravitates toward Indicas. This is why he played an active role in creating the Collins Ave strain – so that it really reflected his preference. "I tried a lot of flavors, and this one stuck with me. It hit like a boss. It’s everything that Collins Ave is," he said.

Having been a cannabis user since the age of 13 – which he recognizes is a bit too young for anyone, Ross considers himself a cannabis connoisseur and aficionado. He believes that his taste in cannabis has a significant influence on his fans and is proud to be a part of the cannabis culture.

The Drop

For those interested in getting to know what Rick smokes, Collins Ave strain is expected to be available in stores in June.

High Tolerance co-founder, Dre, shared insights about the company's collaborations with various artists, explaining that its high-quality flower is what attracts the music industry.

"A lot of rappers are really catching on to our cannabis high, and they're trying to partner up for a collab because they're trying to be a part of the culture. And the cannabis culture is the rap culture in a sense. That's why all these rappers are actually reaching out to us," he said.

The launch of the Collins Ave strain is set to coincide with a private concert featuring Rick Ross in Los Angeles. High Tolerance is also scheduled to open a dispensary in Los Angeles on April 20, marking the company's first dispensary in the city after gaining popularity on the West Coast.

The Future Looks Bright Green

Looking ahead, Dre discussed the company's expansion plans, revealing that the team is working on delivery services and planning for interstate commerce as soon as the law is passed. “We can go to Colorado, we can go to Washington, we can go to Nevada. Anything that's touching the California border, we could deliver to," he voiced.

The executive also shared the secret to growing great cannabis, highlighting the importance of good environmental control, which California offers. "Good environmental control, which is obviously California. Los Angeles itself has a great opportunity control when it comes to wetness, heat, cold and humidity."
