As psychedelics science advances toward becoming a legal health treatment option, education is paramount to shift public awareness on the potential benefits and risks of these medicines.
Here are two upcoming options for accessing insight from industry experts.
Interactive Live Event On Psychedelic Microdosing By OPEN Foundation
The OPEN Foundation has put together an online gathering featuring “Queen of Psychedelics” Amanda Feilding (Beckley Foundation), Dr. Rotem Petranker (Canadian Centre for Psychedelic Research), mathematician Balazs Szigeti (Imperial College’s Center for Psychedelic Research), and psychologist Eline Haijen (Maastricht University.)
The format consists of a panel discussion on the science and stories behind psychedelic microdosing, beginning with the four featured speakers who will provide an overview and their insights on the latest research on microdosing. The floor will then open to the public.
The OPEN Foundation organizes a biannual interdisciplinary conference on psychedelics, the last of which took place in September 2022 in the Philharmonie Theatre in Haarlem (The Netherlands.)
The microdosing event will take place today, May 10, at 8PM CEST (7PM GMT, 2PM EST, 11AM PST), and is free of charge for members of the OPEN Programme or through a single-day donation.
Australian TGA Psychedelic Summit By Microdose
Following Australia’s recent rescheduling of both MDMA and psilocybin for the treatment of PTSD and Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD), newsmedia Microdose organized an online event on the topic.
On May 11 from 7PM to 10.30PM EST, industry experts and thought leaders including Dr. Sud Agarwal (Ingenu CRO), Josh Ismin (Psylo) and clinical psychologists Dr. Bianca Sebben and Dr. Lani Roy will discuss what this historic move means for patients in Australia and the psychedelic sector as a whole.
The event will feature keynote speakers as well as discussion panels, covering the legislative, commercial, and therapeutic repercussions of the Australian decision.
