New Psilocybin Chocolate Bar By Vertical Cannabis And Psychedelics Company

Holistic wellness company Kaya Group’s NUGL subsidiary Kaya Extracts is expanding its product offerings with two new psychedelic mushroom chocolates, available in Jamaica's legal psilocybin market.

Kaya works within the country’s hospitality and tourism industry through its herb house locations cultivating, processing and selling medical marijuana and its Gap Café wellness center.

The new dark or white chocolates will come in the shape of a flat bar containing a total 1g of psilocybin, which can be broken down into four equal-sized pieces containing 250mg each, or smaller fractional pieces for a scheduled microdose routine.

The combination of these mushrooms and chocolate was first used by the Aztecs. In fact, the chocolate’s components -specifically, tyramine and PEA- may enhance psilocybin’s work on the brain by slowing its metabolism, making microdosing a wellness practice to reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress.

“Jamaica has a rich heritage of using natural substances for medicinal and spiritual purposes, and psychedelics are proving beneficial for Jamaica's tourism industry,” says Kaya founder Bali Vaswani, adding that the company will continue its commitment “to conducting rigorous research and adhering to the highest safety and quality standards” while working with the Jamaican community in its locally legal offer.
