Jane Technologies launched its new cannabis point-of-sale platform, offering online listings and in-store curated shopping recommendations, reported TechCrunch.
The platform includes a debit card payment system, custom hardware and integration with the company’s existing e-commerce and advertising solutions product lines.
Probably the most important feature provided by the platform is the personalized shopping experience. As customers have to scan their government-issued ID before entering a dispensary, the new POS takes advantage of this and provides the budtender with a list of products previously purchased by the customer as well as recommended products. Jane Technologies is currently tracking 1.5 million SKUs and updates the data when new products are launched.

According to the company, inventory from dispensaries can be integrated with the platform in just a couple of hours.
