CQ's Cannabis Shots Coming To Michigan Via Emerald Canning Partners

Cannabis beverage, CQ, is expanding its footprint into Michigan this July by teaming up with local manufacturers Emerald Canning Partners (ECP). The initial launch will consist of the CQ 2oz shots, which pair 100mg of strain specific, THC in flavors: Tropical Mango Agua Fresca, Strawberry Lemonade, Nighttime Berry & Lime, and more.

Preorders of the shots can be made through CQ’s manufacturer Emerald Canning Partners. Investor in Emerald Canning Partners and the founder of Blake’s Hard Cider, Andrew Blake stated: “The Michigan market is thirsty for high dose alternatives to add to their ever increasing cannabis beverage selection and CQ has been the perfect partner to do that with!”

This collaboration marks the first third party brand ECP is bringing aboard, but the Michigan company is no stranger to cannabis beverages. Their house brand, Highly Casual, has been on the market with low dose seltzers since fall of last year and the 10mg Pleasantea Iced Teas hit shelves in April. The initial launch of the shots, coming to market in late July, will expand to include CQ’s new line of maximum dose sippable syrups in the coming months.

CQ founder, Kenny Morrison, stated: “"Based on the overwhelming feedback and great sales in Illinois, it is clear that the midwest digs our potent shots and delicious sodas--we can't wait to hear Michigan's feedback firsthand. It's a legit cannabis market, Michiganders know weed and know what they like. We definitely want to win them over."
