GreenWay Herbal Products Receives Patent For Hemp Extract Cannabinoid Formula CBD+CBDA 1:1 In The United Kingdom

GreenWay Herbal Products, LLC has been granted a patent in the United Kingdom for its university developed hemp extract cannabinoid formula, CBD+CBDA 1:1. This formula was originally developed at Middle Tennessee State University, and is currently available to consumers in the United States through the Tanasi brand.

Developed by scientists at Middle Tennessee State University, the CBD+CBDA 1:1 formula incorporates a precise equal mixture of CBD and cannabidiolic-acid (CBDA). According to the company, this combination of 1:1 CBD+CBDA produces a synergistic effect that produces greater therapeutic properties than CBD or CBDA taken alone. The formula has shown promise in promoting relaxation, relieving discomfort, and supporting general wellness.

"We are honored to have received a patent for our non-psychotropic CBD+CBDA 1:1 formula in the United Kingdom," stated Jeff Heeren, CEO of GreenWay Herbal Products. "This patent underscores our dedication to advancing plant-based wellness solutions that positively impact peoples’ lives. We believe that this patent further solidifies the scientific credibility and effectiveness of our products."

The company is actively exploring partnerships and collaborations to bring its patented CBD+CBDA 1:1 formula to consumers in the United Kingdom.
