Punch Edibles & Extracts, a California-based cannabis company, announced its entry into New York's legal adult-use cannabis market. The company's popular Punch Gummies are now available in the state, with the iconic Punch Bar Chocolates set to make their debut later this year.
A Decade-Long Legacy Moves East
Founded in 2013 under California's Proposition 215, Punch Edibles transitioned to the adult-use market in 2018 following legalization in Los Angeles. As a self-funded multi-state operator, the brand has expanded its footprint from California to Oklahoma and now New York. "Punch products have been a beloved staple in the California cannabis market over the last 10 years, and we are thrilled to bring our reliable, potent, health-conscious treats to one of the greatest cities on earth,” said Samantha O’Donnell, Punch Edibles & Extracts co-owner and CFO.
Tailoring to the Consumer
Known for its comprehensive "Know Your Dose" catalog, Punch Edibles offers a variety of products ranging from chocolates and gummies to malt balls, pre-rolls, and solventless vapes. Notably, the company also provides Certified Kosher products. The New York market will initially see Punch Gummies in 5 flavors and Punch Bar Chocolates in 8 flavors, each offering 100mg of THC.
“In an emerging market that includes many cannabis beginners, it is important to offer dose-controllable experiences,” explained Andrew O’Donnell, Punch Edibles & Extracts founder and CEO. “Our Punch Bar and Punch Gummies are broken up into 10 bite-sized portions dosed at 10mgs each, giving New Yorkers control and relief as they experiment with edibles for medical or adult-use.”
Retail and Distribution
Punch Gummies are currently sold at authorized dispensaries throughout New York, including Good Grades, Housing Works, Union Square Travel Agency, Dazed, Smacked, William Jane, Just Breathe, Upstate Canna Co., and offer a delivery option through Legacy Dispensers. The company has future plans to add more store locations and expects to launch Punch Bar Chocolates in late Q4 of this year.
