Canada's cannabis brand Ghost Drops has joined forces with one of Ontario's largest cannabis retailers, Tokyo Smoke.
This collaboration will allow Ghost Drops' cannabis products to reach a broader consumer audience across the province.
Twenty strategically selected Tokyo Smoke stores across the province will feature Ghost Drops' cultivars such as First Class Funk and Z-Splitter, to name a few, but you can also expect a variety of exciting new genetics, including Pavé S1, Korean BBQ and Sherbanger 22.
First Time Online
The move represents the first time the brand's "Ghost Gear" merchandise, apparel and accessories will be offered up to consumers beyond the brand's web platform.
Meanwhile, Ghost Drops launched a medical mail-order marijuana (MOM) portal earlier in April, which allows consumers across the country to purchase Ghost Drops online with multiple forms of payment, including Apple Pay as well as credit and debit cards.
The company also launched several products on the Ontario Cannabis Store's (OCS) Flow-Through platform last year. OCS Flow-Through allowed Ghost Drops to create "Rotational SKUs," allowing the brand to offer new strains each week and get fresher products into the hands of retailers and consumers.
"Our consumers are extremely engaged," Gene Bernaudo, Ghost Drops CEO said. "We have had some great feedback regarding both the extensive product offerings from our Members Only Mail-order platform and the diverse genetics we release weekly utilizing rotational listings on OCS Flow-Through"
The Name Behind The Brand
Ghost Drops co-founder Travis "Organik" Fleetwood, who is also the founder of King of the Dot, told Beniznga's Javier Hasse earlier that cannabis "has played a major role" in his life.
"I started smoking early, probably earlier than I should have," Fleetwood said. "My relationship with the plant has definitely changed over time, though. It went from me smoking weed with my friends for fun to me trying to educate and supply the masses with the highest quality cannabis in the country."
