Recreational cannabis sales in Missouri experienced a minor decline in August, reaching $119 million, while medical sales remained stagnant at $27.3 million.
Despite this dip, recreational sales have consistently outpaced medical sales since February, with the cumulative cannabis sales in the state surpassing $1.47 billion since 2020.
Michigan Cannabis Sales Hold Steady in August, Remaining Near Record High at $276.3 Million
In August, Michigan's cannabis sales maintained their robust position, registering $276.3 million, only a slight dip from the previous record of $276.7 million.
This growth of 32.9% compared to the previous year shows a steady increase, with adult-use sales remaining strong, expanding by 42.9% year-over-year, while medical sales saw a 69.5% decrease, reported Alan Brochstein for NCV.
As the supply continues to increase and pricing adjustments take place, Michigan's cannabis market is poised for further expansion, with sales already up by 36.8% in 2023 compared to the same period in 2022.
