Women Cannabis Law Attorney Joins Glass House Brands' Board Of Directors To Drive Industry Expertise

Glass House Brands Inc. GLAS GLAS GLASF GHBWF has appointed Yelena Katchko, a partner and founding partner at Katchko, Vitiello & Karikomi, PC, to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Kyle Kazan, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Glass House, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Yelena is one of the industry's most recognized names, with an impeccable track record in cannabis law and an unparalleled knowledge of the regulations that shape our industry's structure. I believe that she will add tremendous value to the Company as our business grows and evolves."

Katchko, a distinguished figure in cannabis law, has been consistently recognized as a "Southern California Super Lawyer Rising Star" since 2018 and was honored as the Century City Bar Association "Cannabis Lawyer of the Year" in 2021. As a founding partner of Katchko, Vitiello & Karikomi, PC, located in Los Angeles, she leads the firm's cannabis practice group, handling complex transactional, commercial, licensing, and regulatory compliance matters within the cannabis industry.

Katchko's involvement in shaping cannabis regulations in Los Angeles and California, along with her advocacy efforts, has been instrumental in the industry's development. Her experience extends to engaging with officials on evolving cannabis regulations and working closely with policymakers to represent her clients.

Furthermore, Katchko holds leadership roles as the Vice Chair of Programming for the Los Angeles County Bar Association – Cannabis Section and affiliate counsel for the United Cannabis Business Association (UCBA), a statewide trade association representing California's cannabis industry.

Katchko expressed her enthusiasm for joining Glass House's Board of Directors, emphasizing the ongoing growth and future developments in the cannabis industry. Price Action 

GLASF shares were trading up 0.47%, at $4.30 per share on Tuesday afternoon.
