Teamsters Welcome Eaze Drivers

“Congratulations to the men and women at Eaze for standing united and securing their rights,” said Dale Wentz of Local 150, highlighting the drivers’ aspirations for improved safety, benefits and a stronger say in their workplace.

“Eaze cannabis workers are joining hundreds of thousands of delivery drivers represented by the Teamsters across a wide variety of industries,” said Peter Finn, Teamsters Western Region vice president. “Our union knows the logistics industry better than anyone, and that’s why our members are in the best position to secure the best contract possible.”

Eaze is the third cannabis delivery company to organize with the Teamsters, following the steps of Nabis and Amuse workers in California.

Drivers’ Voices

Eaze drivers express optimism and a sense of empowerment through unionization. “We’re paving the way for fair treatment and decent wages in the cannabis industry,” said Eaze driver Justin Arnerine. Echoing this sentiment, Everett Jenkins, another Eaze driver and now a Teamster, highlighted the importance of having a tangible impact on job conditions and workers’ roles within their organizations.
