Zinger Key Points
  • Aaron Nosbisch, founder/CEO of BRĒZ and Lucyd, speaks at cannabis conference about the company's CBD, mushroom and hemp-infused beverage.
  • Nosbisch, highlights the benefits of their main product, a tonic infused with cannabis, mushrooms, and hemp

Aaron Nosbisch, founder and CEO of BRĒZ and Lucyd, recently spoke at the Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference, where he detailed his companies’ progress in the cannabis and psychedelic beverage industries.

Nosbisch, who has a background in e-commerce and marketing, has grown BRĒZ to be a leader in the cannabis beverage space.

The company’s main product, a tonic infused with cannabis, mushrooms and hemp, is crafted to enhance mood and relaxation without negative aftereffects.

Nosbisch described the beverage as a solution for those seeking a pleasurable experience without the downsides, stating, “Each can is formulated for improved mood, clarity and relaxation with no hangovers or regrets.”

Strategies For Learning And Expansion

Nosbisch discussed his goals in participating in the conference, primarily to gain insights from the established cannabis market to inform better practices and regulations for emerging sectors like hemp. He explained his dual focus: learning from existing market challenges and introducing the potential of the hemp industry to a wider audience.

He also emphasized the opportunities for growth with fewer regulatory hurdles.

Florida’s Possible Cannabis Legislation

Nosbisch also commented on the potential legalization of recreational cannabis in Florida, acknowledging its status as a major consumer state.

He predicted favorable outcomes for the legislation but critiqued the monopolistic structure potentially limiting new entrants, saying, “It’s great that we’re heading towards the path of access, but I wish it weren’t so corrupt.”

Consumer Trends Towards Healthier Choices

He discussed the shift in consumer behavior away from alcohol towards healthier alternatives. Nosbisch pointed out the increased consumer awareness of alcohol’s harmful effects and the growing preference for less harmful recreational options. “Why does such a fun drink have to be so consequential?” he queried, promoting his product as a beneficial alternative.

Promotion of Hemp-Derived THC Products

Concluding his talk, Nosbisch advocated for the acceptance and use of hemp-derived THC products, which are legal and increasingly available due to federal regulations permitting THC levels below 0.3 percent by weight.

He urged the audience to try BRĒZ, highlighting its benefits as a health-conscious alternative to alcohol.
