On June 10th, 2024 Green Life Business Group sold a dispensary in Santa Ana for $9M. The first payment of $8M was all cash at closing with a 12 month carry on the remaining $1M. Green Life Business believes this is the largest cash transaction in California since 2020. There was no real estate involved, this was simply for the dispensary!
Green Life was also able to get a full asking offer of $6.9M for a Las Vegas Dispensary within 14 days of being on the market.
Green Life also just produced an ALL CASH $19.9M offer for a 2 store chain in Northern California, to which the Seller’s accepted.
Overall Acquisitions are up from 2023. Currently Green Life Business Group has sold over 20+ businesses in 2024 so far through the first 2 quarters with over 30 more that are either currently in either escrow or have accepted offers.
Valuations are still at an all time low, and the market is starting to go away from a multiple of top line revenue and more towards a multiple of EBITDA.
If you are confident you can get your EBITDA up and are comfortable with your business being valued on EBITDA, we recommend holding on to the business. If you are just breaking even or just have licenses you are looking to sell, this might be the last small window to find a buyer willing to buy them on what he thinks he can do with them.
