Mike Tyson's TYSON 2.0 Introduces Mikeadelics: Simplifying Home Mushroom Cultivation

Zinger Key Points
  • Mike Tyson's brand is launching 'Mikeadelics,' an all-in-one kit for growing magic mushrooms at home.
  • This marks Carma HoldCo's entry into the burgeoning psychedelics industry.

Known for tapping into the influence of cultural icons, Carma HoldCo Inc. has ventured into the psychedelics space with the launch of Mikeadelics, an innovative home mushroom growing kit under the expanding TYSON 2.0 brand. This collaboration with Advanced Mycology marks Carma HoldCo’s first foray into the burgeoning psychedelic industry.

Mike Tyson, the legendary boxer, co-founder and chief brand officer behind TYSON 2.0, will be on-site for the product launch at the CHAMPS Trade Show in Vegas on July 24. “Mikeadelics represents a personal journey for me. My interest in psychedelics has been well-documented, and I’m excited to offer a product that makes growing mushrooms accessible to everyone. This kit is a game-changer and makes the process simple and enjoyable,” he shared in a press release.

Adam Wilks, CEO of Carma HoldCo, emphasized the strategic importance of this launch. “We are thrilled to introduce Mikeadelics, a product that not only broadens our product offerings but also aligns perfectly with our mission to innovate and deliver unique, authentic experiences to our consumers. This launch also signifies our entry into the psychedelic space in a legal, compliant way, representing a significant milestone for our company.”

Judd Weiss, president of Advanced Mycology, pointed out the technical advancements of the kit. “Mycology is a complex and demanding field, but with the TYSON 2.0 Mikeadelics, we’ve simplified the process. Our unique filter strip technology ensures better airflow and protection against bacteria and mold, making mushroom cultivation accessible to all.”

Innovative Technology And User-Friendly Design

Mikeadelics simplifies mushroom growing by eliminating the need for specialized equipment. The kit includes a TYSON 2.0 Mikeadelics all-in-one grow bag, a detailed instruction booklet, an inoculation data label, an alcohol wipe and a Mylar storage bag with a dry pack for storing dried mushrooms. The kit’s filter strip technology enhances airflow and protects against contaminants, making it easier for users to maintain sterility. Users simply inject their liquid culture, wait for the mushrooms to form and then harvest. Each grow bag yields approximately 1/2 oz of dry mushrooms, with the potential for two to three harvests per bag.

Broader Implications For Psychedelic Industry

The introduction of Mikeadelics clearly represents a shift in the accessibility and normalization of psychedelics for personal use. As more states explore the legalization and regulation of psychedelics, products like Mikeadelics pave the way for broader acceptance and understanding of their benefits. Limited research from the National Institute on Drug Abuse suggests that psychedelics do not typically lead to addiction, and ongoing studies are investigating their potential in treating substance use disorders.
