Healing Heroes Initiative: Relief For Everyday Heroes

Launching for Veterans Day, the Grateful Veteran will handle online registrations and connect applicants with local doctors, while DocMJ will provide affordable, tailored care and help participants connect with a network of licensed cannabis doctors throughout Florida, making the process streamlined and accessible. Veterans and first responders interested in joining the program can register through The Grateful Veteran's website to get started with the application process.

Aligned Missions: Compassionate Care For Service Members

Planet 13's commitment to community service is embodied in the Healing Heroes program. "We deeply appreciate and honor our veterans and first responders and thank them for their sacrifice and service to our country," said Larry Scheffler, co-CEO of Planet 13 and also a veteran.

Jeffrey DeMond, President of The Grateful Veteran, emphasized the impact of the collaboration: "This donation by Planet 13 perfectly aligns with our mission. Our goal is to empower veterans and give them alternative medical solutions to heal both mentally and physically. We are grateful for this partnership."

DocMJ's CEO, Aaron Bloom, highlighted the significance of their participation: "At DocMJ, we are deeply committed to providing individualized wellness services that improve patients' lives and relieve suffering. Through our partnership with The Grateful Veteran, we are able to make medical cannabis more accessible by providing an affordable, holistic option for veterans and first responders."

Available to Florida residents, this program offers free or discounted access to medical cannabis card services for qualifying veterans and first responders. Interested participants can sign up on The Grateful Veteran's website. The program will only be active from November 1 to November 14, 2024, so early registration is encouraged.
