Photronics (PLAB) Surges 10% In After Hours Trading

Shares of imaging technology company Photronics, Inc PLAB were up nearly 10% in after hours trading at $5.40 per share. The company's shares had fallen nearly 6% during the earlier Tuesday trading session. Photronics, Inc said it swung to a fiscal 2nd quarter profit of 14 cents per share, from a loss of 24 cents per share a year earlier. Excluding special items, the company produced earnings of 9 cents per share. Revenue climbed 26% to $105.1 million. According to a survey of analysts by Thomson Reuters, the average Wall Street estimate called for Photronics, Inc to report earnings of 4 cents per share, on revenue of $102.3 million.
