The Buckle (BKE) Reports $30 Million Profit

The Buckle Inc BKE released financial results on Thursday morning that beat Wall Street estimates. The Buckle Inc reported that its 1st quarter net income rose to $30.1 million, or 65 cents per share, up from $26.9 million, or 59 cents per share, a year earlier. The company's revenue climbed 7.6% to $214.8 million, up from $199.7 million a year earlier. According to a poll of analysts by Thomson Reuters, the average Wall Street estimate called for earnings of 61 cents per share. Shares of The Buckle Inc ended the Wednesday trading session at $34.89 per share.
