The top gainer within the industry was Apollo Group Inc APOL, which added 2.42%. Liberty Analytics Company, a leading provider of large, small- and micro-cap independent investment research, initiated coverage on APOL. Home Furnishing Stores: This industry moved down 0.42% by 11:38 am, with Williams-Sonoma Inc WSM climbing 4.73% to gain the top spot. The home decor and kitchen products retailer, posted fiscal Q1 net income of $19.5 million, helped by a 17% increase in revenue and reduced inventory, reversing its year-ago loss. Business Services: The industry, which plunged 0.78%, has the top gainer in the form of Visa Inc V, which gained 2.56%. V, along with Wells Fargo & Company WFC, announced fraud alert system for Wells Fargo Visa credit cardholders. Text message alerts offer near real-time warning of potentially fraudulent activity.
