Bio-Reference Laboratories Inc reported that its fiscal 2nd quarter net income rose to $5.8 million, or 21 cents per share, up from $4.6 million, or 17 cents per share, a year earlier.
Revenue climbed 27% to $110.4 million, up from $87.2 million a year earlier.
According to a poll of analysts by Thomson Reuters, the average Wall Street estimate called for earnings of 19 cents per share.
