Accenture Moving Higher After Reporting Earnings (ACN)

Accenture ACN released its fiscal third quarter earnings after the closing bell on Thursday. The company reported net income of $490.6 million or $0.73 per share compared to $444 million or $0.68 per share in the year ago quarter. Wall Street analysts' consensus EPS estimates going into this report were set at $0.69, so ACN delivered a 4 cent bottom line beat. Net revenues were $5.57 billion versus $5.15 billion in last year's third quarter. This was better than twenty-one analysts' consensus estimates of $5.48 billion. In the after hours trading session, ACN shares have moved 2.29% higher to $38.41. Looking ahead, the company sees net revenues in a range between $5.15 billion and $5.35 billion in fiscal Q4. Analysts are currently projecting ACN's fourth quarter revenues will be $5.40 billion. Accenture also said that they see full year EPS in the lower half of its prior guidance range of $2.61 to $2.69. Wall Street is anticipating fiscal 2010 EPS of $2.63.
