Designed to give its resellers a jump start with selling Oracle ORCL hardware and software, Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. ARW, launched "Fast Track," a program for legacy Sun Microsystems resellers. The program assists resellers with enrolling in the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) and creating a pipeline of opportunities with selling Oracle technology.
"As Oracle moves into their new fiscal year and the integration of Sun resellers into the Oracle Partner Network really starts to accelerate, Arrow ECS wants to help those resellers get a fast start into the OPN program, and more quickly get indoctrinated into Oracle's channel practices, such as the closing of PRM [Oracle's opportunity-registration system]-approved Oracle sales opportunities," said Bill Page, vice president of Arrow ECS' Sun group. "Arrow's Fast Track onboarding program for Oracle will help tie together the expertise, opportunities and strategies that Sun resellers will need to effectively sell Oracle hardware and software solutions going forward."
