Stocks To Watch For July 9 (UAUA, LWSN, EADSY, APD, ARG)

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: UAL Corp UAUA has reported a 3.5% rise in its June traffic to 10.94 billion revenue passenger miles, from 10.57 billion in the year-ago period. The company’s total capacity also increased by 1.1% to 12.44 billion available seat miles during the month. UAUA’s shares gained 1.56% to $20.83 in after-hours trading. Lawson Software Inc LWSN posted its FQ4 profit at $0.02 per share, down from $0.05 per share in the year-ago period. The company’s revenue rose to $197 million, from $186 million in the same period last year. LWSN’s shares fell 3.54% to $7.35 in the after-hours trading session. The European Aeronautic Defence & Space Co EADSY has decided to resubmit its proposal to replace the aging US fleet of aerial-refueling tankers a day earlier than the Pentagon deadline. EADSY’s shares moved down 0.09% to close at $21.30 yesterday. Air Products & Chemicals Inc APD has planned to raise its all-cash offer for acquiring Airgas Inc ARG by $3.50 per share to $63.50 per share.
