Norfolk Southern NSC just announced it is increasing its dividend by 6%, or 2 cents per share, from 34 to 36 cents per share. The increased dividend is payable on Sept. 10, to stockholders of record on Aug. 6. Norfolk Southern is scheduled to report earnings today after the bell.
