Ford's Credit Rating Boosted (F)

Standard & Poor's has raised Ford's F credit rating from B- to B+ as a result of expectations that the company will remain profitable and signs that customers have a better impression of the automaker's vehicles. A B+ rating is still four notches below investment grade. "Ford is making progress in stabilizing, and perhaps improving its U.S. market share," S&P said in a statement. During today's trading session, F shares have risen 0.30% to $13.20.
