Atmel Corporation ATML shares gained 17.73% to create a new 52-week high of $6.11. ATML has reported better-than-expected Q2 results. Entropic Communications Inc ENTR shares reached $8.10 to touch a new 52-week high, before falling to $8.09, representing a 1.25% gain. Analysts at Benchmark upgraded ENTR from “hold” to “buy.” Illumina Inc ILMN shares rose 0.85% to create a new 52-week high of $46.43. ILMN had posted upbeat Q2 results. GT Solar International Inc SOLR shares gained 12.54% to create a new 52-week high of $7.81. SOLR reported strong Q2 results, apart from raising its projections for fiscal 2011.
