Top Narrow Based Indexes For August 10 (KIRK, NFLX, IT)

By 12:46 pm, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 107.85 points, or 1.01%, to 10,590.90, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had lost 13.15 points, or 1.17%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 40.80 points, or 1.77%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the markets are Home Furnishing Retailer Stocks, which have gained 3.2%, Dotcom Retailer Stocks, up 0.7%, and Consulting and Research Services Stocks, moving 0.3% higher as a group. In Tickerspy's Home Furnishing Retailer complex, Kirkland's Inc KIRK had surged 5.3%. KIRK is all set to report its Q2 earnings on August 20. The best performing Tickerspy Dotcom Retailer stock has been Netflix Inc NFLX, which was up 6.2%. NFLX has signed an agreement with pay-cable movie channel Epix for streaming films from three major movie studios online.
