Navigators Appoints Mendelsohn to Board of Directors

The Navigators Group, Inc. NAVG today announced the appointment of Robert V. Mendelsohn to its Board of Directors. Mr. Mendelsohn began his career as an attorney at Willkie, Farr & Gallagher, LLP before joining W.R. Berkley Corporation for the next 20 years, ultimately serving as President and Chief Operating Officer. In 1993, he became Chief Executive Officer of Royal Insurance Group, which later merged with Sun Alliance to become Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group, PLC (RSA), which he served as Worldwide Group Chief Executive from 1997 to 2002.
