Liquidmetal Technologies (LQMT) Spikes 72.06%

Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. LQMT had a great trading session today. It spiked 72.06% on the rumor that Apple AAPL made a deal with Liquidmetal Technologies (LQMT) to use its liquidmetal casing material for its products. This material is used in flash drives, mp3 players, cell phones, sporting goods and etc. Some pundits think that it is unlikely that Apple (AAPL) will use liquidmetal in its products, because it is highly expensive. Apple (AAPL) hasn't confirmed the deal, but Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. (LQMT) filed a regulatory notice recently that it has granted Apple (AAPL) an exclusive license to use its technology.
