Top Narrow Based Indexes For August 13 (UNCA, SORL, BYI)

The NASDAQ composite index fell 7.74 points, or 0.35%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are supporting the market are General Business, Business Intelligence and Supply Chain Software Stocks, which have gained 2.2%, Chinese Auto Parts Stocks, up 2.2%, and Gaming and Slot-Machine Stocks, moving 1.5% higher as a group. In Tickerspy's General Business, Business Intelligence and Supply Chain Software complex, Unica Corp UNCA had surged 117.5%. IBM IBM has agreed to buy UNCA for $21 per share, or $480 million, in a cash transaction, valuing UNCA at a premium of 120% to its previous session’s closing price. The best performing Tickerspy Chinese Auto Parts stock has been SORL Auto Parts Inc SORL, which was up 5.6%. SORL had reported upbeat Q2 results, apart from issuing better-than-expected sales guidance for the third quarter. Bally Technologies Inc BYI is today’s leading Tickerspy's Gaming and Slot-Machine stock, gaining 4.5%. BYI had reported a 54% y/y increase in its Q4 net income.
