Retailers Weak Today (ANF, M, AEO)

Some of the retailers are weak today, despite decent earnings report last night from Guess GES and Jo Ann Stores JAS. Shares of Abercrombie & Fitch ANF are down 36 cents, a loss of 1% on 1 million shares. Shares of Macy's M are down 10 cents, a loss of 0.5%. Volume is also light so far, with just over 1 million shares having changed hands, a little over an hour into trading. Shares of American Eagle Outfitters AEO are down 5 cents to $13.43. This comes as news the teen retailer could close as many as 100 underperforming stores.
