Groundbreaking Game NFT Champions Plans Token Launch to Power Development

They've partnered with the reputable crypto launchpad TrustSwap to manage the event, which will precede the game's launch. The game, titled NFT Champions, offers players a unique new way to earn NFTs through next-generation blockchain gameplay that's unlike anything that has come before it.

What is NFT Champions?

NFT Champions is an online multiplayer game built using Unreal Engine 4 by a team of game development all-stars. Its designers are all game development veterans that helped bring to life industry-defining titles like Fortnite, World of Warcraft, and Halo, among others. And it represents a true evolution in NFT-powered gaming.

In fact, it's the first NFT-centric play-to-earn open-world game where players have the opportunity to earn both money and rewards by completing in-game events. Players can build their team of NFT monsters and train them to max out their battle stats. They can also use the game's DNA Lab to fuse their high-level monsters together to unlock even greater abilities.
And all along, they can battle other players in the game world to hone their skills and their monsters' abilities. Or, they can opt to explore the world to forge new alliances as they complete the game's online campaign mode. 
Either way, all of their hard work will culminate in a team capable of taking on the biggest challenges the game has to offer – raid bosses, tournaments, and live events.

Unique NFT Trading Features

Players will also be able to buy and sell their NFT monsters in the built-in trading marketplace using the platform's native $CHAMP token. Players need only purchase their first NFT Champion monster or receive a gift of one from another player to get started. 
From there, they can invest as much or as little as they like – and can build their team through training and competition however they choose. There are even opportunities to earn exclusive rewards and limited-time NFTs from in-game events.

But not every NFT Champion will be up for sale forever. Each unique monster comes with a mint limit – after which they'll only be available to buy from other owners. This provides owners with a massive incentive to train their monsters to the max. 
And once they do, they can hold on to them forever, or choose to sell them on the marketplace to earn massive returns. In other words – the NFT Champions marketplace is a self-sustaining one that gives every player another chance to turn their hours of gameplay into real money.

Participating in the Token Launch

The team behind NFT Champions is busily working toward an early access game release in January of 2022. But before that can happen, the game's native $CHAMP token will go up for sale. This will make it possible to launch the initial set of NFT Champions for sale on the major NFT platforms so interested players can begin building their teams.

The token launch will take place on the TrustSwap Launchpad on October 21st, 2021 at 9:00 AM PST. Those wishing to take part can visit the launchpad in the 24-hour period after the launch to fill out the required KYC paperwork to participate in the token sale. 

After getting approved, they'll then have 24 hours to exercise their buying rights before their token allocation is given to the next person waiting to buy.

A New Twist on the NFT Market

The most important takeaway here is that SIGMA Studios is building something that's going to generate real value in the NFT market. Unlike the market for conventional NFTs, where prices fluctuate based on speculation and hype, the NFT Champions market will be dynamic and fueled by player interest. 

And the fact that each NFT Champion has real in-game utility guarantees that its value will endure as long as the game does.
It's an approach that has all the makings of a long-term success story. But that story won't be one of yet another NFT boom and bust cycle. This one will have the players of a first-of-its-kind blockchain game at its heart instead. 

They'll be the ones animating the marketplace through their love of the game and its engaging in-game world. They'll also be the ones reaping the rewards of their dedicated NFT Champion training. And that's something new in the red-hot NFT world. And it also makes NFT Champions more than worth paying attention to.
