Shibburn has reported that close to 149.6 million Shiba Inu SHIB/USD tokens have been destroyed and moved to unspendable wallets.
In the last 48 hours, the most significant chunk of this, about 87 million SHIB, has been moved to dead wallets in a dozen transactions.

Before that close to 12,738,009, 18,875,469, and 30,614,624 SHIBs were burned respectively.

Last week, WhaleStats reported about the Shiba Inu community reaching a new milestone related to its number of owners.
It mentioned that the number of Shiba holders exceeded 1.2 million.

On Friday, the “BlueWhale0159” obtained 150,000,000,000 Shiba Inu, worth $1,750,500 at the exchange time.
Nearly one billion SHIBs were sent to dead wallets in May, the highest ever.
